April has been another dynamic month at OGC, with continued growth across the business. From welcoming new team talent to record-breaking gauge deliveries and industry-leading exhibitions, this month has been all about pushing boundaries, strengthening partnerships, and celebrating the team behind the precision.
Driven to Deliver – Spline Gauge for Williams F1 in Record Time
Another proud moment this month was the delivery of a Go/No Go spline gauge for Williams F1 Team.
The gauge was ordered on 21st April with a three-week lead time, but thanks to our operational processes and the agility, dedication of our team, it was completed and shipped by 28th April, just five working days later.
This is another example of OGC setting the pace off the track, helping to support motorsport teams with the same precision and speed they expect.
Overseas Insights – Visiting Germany’s Control Trade Fair for Quality Assurance
First day back after bank holiday, the OGC team visit the Control Trade Show in Stuttgart, Europe’s leading exhibition for inspection, quality systems, and metrology equipment.

We had some excellent meetings, with conversations including future investments in new metrology capital and insights into global market trends. Despite current headwinds, particularly in relation to US trade relations, the event was filled with energy, opportunity, and optimism. We look forward to building on
Aqua Blast Capability – Expanding Our Gauge Reclamation Service
With the recent arrival of our Vixen Aqua Blaster, we’re expanding our capabilities to offer gauge refurbishment as an additional service.
This process allows us to clean and restore gauges that sometimes arrive for recalibration in less-than-ideal condition, extending their lifecycle and bringing them to a position where they can be reliably validated in calibration. This also offers our customers excellent value, as in some cases it saves customers time and money by not having to instantly replace expensive gauges.
Friday Chilldown – Car Park BBQ for the Team
To round off a busy and productive month, we treated the team to a Friday morning BBQ in the car park.
It was a great chance to take a break, enjoy some sausage and bacon rolls, and finally make the most of a bit of sunshine. A well-deserved thank you for everyone’s continued hard work.
